Welcome to the latest edition of the OPML download update.
This update is a bit different from our normal update post. We have two new blogging services offering free blogging space for gamers. We have PodLogs (http://www.podlogs.com) with an EVE Online specific focuse and GameScribe (http://mygamescribe.com) with a focus on the MMORPG community in general. As a result of the enormous enrollment with these two services, our blogging community has literally doubled in size in less than a month.
In case you are not aware, CrazyKinux maintains a complete blogroll listing for the entire EVE Online Blogging Community at http://www.crazykinux.com/2008/04/eve-online-blogroll-lovefest.html. If you have a blog that is not on this centralized listing, please do comment on his post and CK will be more than happy to add your blog to the list.
Now, some of the blogs that are on the centralized blogs listing that CrazyKinux maintains do not have any posts as of yet. Some of them have been added and others will simple not come up in the tools that I use (FeedDemon from NewsGator). As a result, only 485 of the 535 blogs are currently listed on CK’s listing are in the OPML download.
If your blog is listed in CK’s listing and is not in the OPML download, this is the most likely reason. Please contact me to have your blog entered into the OPML download if this is the case. A comment on this post will work well enough to contact me.
Normally I would be listing out the new additions to the OPML download, however, there are just too many blogs to list individually and I have not had the chance to read through them all, there is just so much new content and I look forward to reading them all.

I think it may be time for some sort of cataloguing and categorisation effort. I'm lookiing at building a directory, of blogs to begin with but extending eventually to other EVE related websites and would appreciate any suggestions or input you could provide. I'm on twitter and you have my email.

CK is actually working on that with the blogroll right now, it's coming, but we need to give him time as there are so many blogs out there. When he's finished, I will be changing the OPML download around as well. There will be multiple OPML download files, one for each category as well as the current complete file.
