Well, sometimes people just don’t pay attention to local chat. Now, this person had some gall. Not only did he take my loot from the belts, but he did not even bother to wait until I had left the belt. So, I let him know that this is just not right. He was flashing red and refused the convo invites, so, I showed him another way to communicate. Needless to say, I got his attention.
Yeah, a cruiser taking down a hauler is not really an honorable kill, but neither is taking someone’s loot without asking. id I get his attention? Well, I think so, he came back in a cruiser and opened fire as soon as he warped back into the belt. I exercised my little drones again and he learned that this was just not the way to go.
Shortly after this little encounter, the CEO of his corp convo’s me, wanting to know, and I quote, “What did this twit do to end up loosing me my Omen”? I informed him of my missing loot cans. He offered to pay me for the lost items, I told him that the loot I obtained from the destroyed ships was good enough for me and that if I was attacked again, a war dec would follow. Needless to say, hostilities stopped at that point.
So, first day of 1 v 1 fighting and it was a win for me, twice. Not a very hard fight, but you have to start somewhere.
