This coming weekend and the next and then we are at Christmas. Can you believe it? It’s been a busy month and a lot is going on.
- Dominoin 1.0.2 was deployed, Patch Notes reveal that the Stargate Blockade Units were seeded as planned. The grace period for Sov was extended to December 15th.
- We added more blogs to the OPML and The EVE Online Portal, check out the newest additions!
- Roc of Roc’s Ramblings continues his Advent Celebration series.
- Many of our fellow bloggers continue to write interesting posts on the EVE Online Expansion: Dominion.
- CCP promised us the screen saver that they used as the backdrop at FanFest. It’s not been released yet, but a very nice screensaver with Dominoin screenshots and music has been release, check it out!
- 54,181. That’s the new PCU record as of 12-8-2009. Congratulations CCP!
- Luminus Aardokey of Split Infinity Radio and the Planet Risk Podcast has proposed the creation of a shared bookmarks tool in the Jita Assembly Hall. Head over and support this initiative today!
- Rettic wrote a wonderful back story for his character, READ IT!
- And to round out the list this week, check out yet another awesome kill by a Warrior of the Ushra’khan. Yes, it’s a T3 Strategic Cruiser popped something almost unheard of.

There is a story. I'll start with the engagement details as there were three kills total:

Here is the story at it was related by Kirzath:
So there I was, flying around Provi solo in my Dual-prop Taranis of doom. The day has been pretty bad for me, losing 4 rifters, a Sabre and an Armageddon in exchange for a single T1 rifter.
Upon jumping into TA3T, I find a Harbinger on scan. I quickly locate it's belt and warp to it. To my dismay, the Harbinger is 100km away killing rats, and was apparently aligned. I start aligning out, but then a neutral Loki decloaks 2000m away from me.
At first I'm
but quickly regain my composure and I promptly tackle it… and it tackles me back. I find myself dual webbed, but with my Afterburner, I went 70 m/s faster than him. With some clever manual flying, I orbited him tightly while my Neutron Blasters and trusty Warrior IIs slowly ate away at his shields.
A few minutes pass, and an explosion is had.
I quickly loot the wreck, and note that the Harbinger is still in the belt, doing his own thing. I burn over to him and quickly dispose of him. He was at half structure when I tackled him, which I found rather odd at first.
I loot the Harbinger, and while switching to my overview tab with wrecks, I note an unlooted True Sansha cruiser wreck. I loot it for a True Sansha Medium Armor Repairer.
Then I notice the only remaining rat in the belt: a 7M bounty True Sansha battleship, which explained why the Harbinger was intent on staying to the end and why it was taking so much damage. It takes me a few minutes, but I manage to kill the NPC battleship and loot a True Sansha Warp Scrambler.
What an awesome asteroid belt
