I was considering adding something to do with Tech 3, but ultimately, I can pilot them, I can make them (well… everything except the final assembly, jury rigging 5 is just too long a skill to slot in at the moment, as well as cruiser construction 5) … I just dont want to blow 99% of my wallet balance buying one at the moment.

Agree on the T3 ships thing. Too expensive and too gimmicky as of yet. I'm sure this will change, given time. For now, I've got plenty of T2 ships to train for.
As for caps…Lexx wants to train for a Rorqual, and I may have to do that as well one day. But we don't have a lowsec/0.0 presence that could use capital ships right now, so I've been helping her focus on skills that will help her get the most out of the BSs she can fly.
