ProviWar continues. I’ve not kept up with the exact details of what’s happened in the past week, however, I am still of the mind that CVA as we knew them are gone.. The strategy of ‘don’t fight, they will get bored’ will not save them and in reality, it’s far too late for CVA to mount an effective defense of their space.
Casellia Truza wrote an interesting article on Why “The Empyrean Age” sucks. He’s not referring to the EVE Online Expansion rather the novel that was released at the same time. I have to agree with my friend here, the book was a good ‘starter novel’ for a writer, but it lacked enough to really be called a ‘good novel’. The discussion on his post is worth a good look as well as the views on how we fans want such novels to be good.

The major item in this patch is the autopilot changes, mainly the ability to add systems to an exclude list. This coupled with three new gates in empire will allow you to avoid having to pass through Jita.
It’s the hope that this will help to relieve the lag and overcrowing that occurs in Jita. It should work well.
The much discussed changes to “nano” ships is NOT being deployed as we originally thought, there is more discussion on that decision on the thread concerning the changes being rolled back on the test server:
