For those of you who have noticed, I’ve added links to my sidebar for my fellow Hellfleet bloggers as well as created a Google feed for the Hellfleet.
One my fellow alliance mates, Eviwyn, has been writing up a storm. We’ve been flying a lot lately and I tell ya, it’s been a blast.
Last night, I came home from work felling worn out. Lot’s of stuff going on and I was in a bit of a foul mood. If you work in the Information Technology field, you know what I mean, “Standard Issue Monday” stuff.
So, I get home, the missus makes a lovely dinner and after we snooze a bit on the couch, I am wanting to sort out some stuff on the computer. I of course, log into EVE.
Evi is online in one of our hunting grounds. Not much is going on, so I head out to the belts beyond scan. Hmm….capsule and a Megathron. Could be interesting. I narrow down the mega and say, what the hell, I engage.
Suddenly, my cap is going away faster than I would think. Yup, he’s got a neut. So, this fellow is ratting in low sec in a Megathron with a neut and T1 large drones. Wow, here comes the web and warp disruptor.
I am thinking, this must be bait. I alert Evi that I think it’s bait, but nothing else comes into the belt save for a local friend in his Stabber. He sees me and enages the mega. Awesome, some help. I say frak it and tell Evi to join the fray.
Another few minutes goes by and local does not spike. Okay, he’s not bait, full dps and kill the guy. Del’s stabber goes pop and the mega’s heavy drones lay into me. I set my drones on his and he pulls them back. Good, just keep the guns and point on him and he’s mine, except I am capped out again from the neut. No points on him, he can warp out. But…he stays.
Evi lands and puts a point on him. We continue to work him down, attacking his drones as they come out to play and finally, he goes pop.

Yup, that’s a Tusker that on that kill, he lost his atron to this guy one belt back. Funny how the mega pilot did not take the hint that this space was not ‘safe’ for him.
We exchange good fights in local, he tells us when we ask why he did not warp out.
