It’s been a long week for me in real life. Work and other activities have kept me busy, I’ve not had a lot of time to play EVE this week. I did have time to finally retire my old cel phone and get a new iPhone 3GS. All I can say is that I love the thing and I am kicking myself for not getting one sooner.
Here’s a few of this week’s highlights:
- “EVE player wins Olympic medal“, that was the headline over at Game Reactor. Nthraller of Morsus Mihi won the Silver Medal in the Giant Slalom (http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1274589). Head over to the thread and offer your congratulations, this is tuly epic.
- Seismic Stan wrote a very interesting article on EVE Online and how this particular MMORPG seems to be very pervasive in our real lives. He explores the reasons behind this observation. Head over and read his post, Bastard! / Our Health and EVE.
- I hear there was something about CK and his blog stuff, you can read about it all if you so desire.

Oh, one more thing, before I forget. Chocolips started a meme this week when she asked, “What’s in your EVESpace?” Many people have been posting photos of their computer rigs. If you want to catch up on all the posts, you can read about them here.
This is my setup:
I must admit, mine is a tad spartan in that I don’t have anything hanging on the walls in the den. We moved into this house in August and we are still getting settled. It works for me.

Pshaw, I’ve been in my house even less time and my office is way messier.
Also, I was beginning to think I was the only one without all kinds of cool decorations on the walls… Glad to see I was wrong about that.

Yeah, my desk is in the den on the first floor, can't really put up all those snazzy EVE things like I want to. It has to be 'respectable' and such, but it's my space. I'll have some framed prints up soon though.
