Yeah, i listen to audio books when I'm commuting or walking. If I try that in bed, I'm asleep in minutes.

I've tried the audio book thing. For some reason, the story doesn't stay with me. I also seem to fall asleep listening to them. I hate that, fall asleep and you have to start over again or try to figure out where you nodded off.

At least with a book, when you fall asleep reading, you don't really loose you spot.

I love the Kindle app too and have quite a few Kindle books on my iTouch. Also got a ton of audio books...audible.com being another addiction.

Yeah, I use Feeds read everything and it syncs with Google Reader, make it real easy to keep up. I can read an article, start it to work with it later and do the sharing and tagging I mentioned.

I also use the Kindle app from Amazon, love to read eBooks as they are cheaper and on the iPod Touch, they are always with me.

I am using Google Reader, using the share option on a post. I also add a tag, such as CVAClose. I then go into the subscription management section in Google Reader and share that tag. You can then get a url to the shared items page for just that tag. The widget on the top of my sidebar is the Notices plugin for Wordpress (<a href="http://www.sterling-adventures.co.uk/blog/2008/06/01/notices-ticker-plugin)." target="_blank"><a href="http://www.sterling-adventures.co.uk/blog/2008/06...</a>" target="_blank">http://www.sterling-adventures.co.uk/blog/2008/06...</a></a> It's lets you share a url and set the duration that it runs, say for 7 days.

I also use the shared item widget that you can get from a shared tag in Google Reader for the other sidebar widget My Shared Google Items.

So, when I am laying in bed, reading news feeds on my iPod Touch, I share an item and add the correct tag and the items shows up in that shared link automatically. Once it's setup, it makes things very easy to add content. That and the new WordPress 2 app for the iPhone/iPod Touch. I don't have to use my laptop to update my blog for most items.

Thanks for the link to my "fix the alliance disbanding mechanic" proposal (and for your support of it in the thread). You're using some neat features here, I'm going to have to explore these more fully.
